Elkader Mill on Main
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026
Elkader Mill on Main (“we,” “us”) runs this website for our three guest suites at 126 N Main Street, Elkader, Iowa. We keep things simple: this site is here to show you the suites and the town, and it collects very little about you.
What we collect
When you email or call us. If you write to stay@elkadermillonmain.com or call (623) 256-2053, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number and the dates you’re asking about. We use it only to answer you and help with your stay.
When you visit the site. There are no forms, accounts, newsletters, analytics or advertising trackers on this site. Like every website, our hosting company’s servers keep standard technical logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
Booking through VRBO
All reservations and payments are handled by VRBO. When you click a “Book on VRBO” button, you leave our site, and VRBO’s own privacy policy applies to anything you share there. We receive the booking details VRBO passes along to hosts, such as your name, dates and number of guests, and use them only to host your stay.
Other services on this site
- Google Maps. The map on our Contact page and the “Get directions” links are provided by Google, which may collect information under Google’s privacy policy.
- Facebook and other websites. Links to our Facebook page and to local businesses take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by GoDaddy and our email is provided by Microsoft. They process data on our behalf to run those services.
Cookies

Your choices
You can ask us at any time what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Just email stay@elkadermillonmain.com.
